This edition of the Weekly Data Report covers August 24–30, 2026 — a week of supply expansion and network records, set against a BTC-above-$80k macro backdrop.

Figures carry 'as of' dates and sources; where the current week's print is not yet published (e.g. the KuCoin TRON weekly report), we mark it n/a rather than estimate.

What Happened Last Week

Supply and scale both set records: USDT on TRON topped $94B, TRON crossed 400M accounts (8 years from genesis, fastest among majors), and stablecoin supply expanded sharply (Circle +$1.7B, Tether +$0.2B in a week; TRON/SOL/HyperEVM combined +$1.97B). The macro driver was BTC's $80k break; the flow driver was institutions returning via ETFs (~$2.61B weekly).

Fastest-Growing Indicators

Declining or Soft Indicators

Is There an Anomaly?

The notable pattern: supply and account growth are accelerating (records on records) while the 30-day transaction average remains slightly below its prior period. New accounts and new supply should convert into higher transfer counts with a lag; if the KuCoin report (Mon Aug 31) shows flat volumes despite record accounts, that lag is worth watching as a possible signal of accumulation-over-usage.
